This noble fruit is worked Fresh: steam-sterilized for supermarkets and industries. Dried: white chestnuts and flour.
The chestnuts are dried in the traditional way (over wood) to conserve all the flavour of the fruit.
The flour is ground in a stone mill, without preserving additives or sugar. At the moment the annual production is as follows: • 4.000 metric tons of fresh chestnuts.
• 350 metric tons of dried chestnuts.
• 350metric tons of chestnut flour.
