STEW OF SEITAN AND CHESTNUTS
Do you want try to prepare the seitan in different way from the usual one? Then put yourself to the stoves to realize a beautiful dish of seitan stewed to the chestnuts with minced red onion, sauce of soy, oil extravergine of olive, lemon, ginger and aromatic grass.
1 wrapping of spelt Seitan, 1 small minced red onion; flour of chestnuts q.b.; sauce of soy; oil extravergine of olive; 100 grs of cooked chestnuts.
For the seasoning: rosemary q.b.; sage q.b.; bark of lemon; grated ginger q.b.
In a frying pan make to fade the onion with little water. Cut the dice seitan and to pass it in little flour of chestnuts sieving to eliminate the excess. Add the seitan to the onion, lift the flame and make to slightly toast. Bathe with little water and season with the sauce of soy, after a couple of minutes add the chestnuts, if necessary add other water. Make it season for 10-15 saucepan covered min, the chestnuts must be softened, the fund of cooking must be turned into a soft cream. Taste, if necessary add other water. In the meantime prepare the seasoning. Wash and make to dry the aromas, elegantly mince sage and rosemary add the bark grated of a lemon and the minced ginger. Amalgamate with care. Distribute the seasoning on the seitan just before serving.
